Key Responsibilities

  • Perform routine laboratory tests and analyses accurately following established protocols.
  • Prepare samples, reagents, and solutions according to standard operating procedures (SOPs).
  • Operate, maintain, and calibrate various laboratory equipment and instruments.
  • Record experimental procedures, observations, and results meticulously in lab notebooks and electronic systems.
  • Assist senior researchers in experimental design, setup, and data collection.
  • Ensure strict adherence to all laboratory safety protocols, quality control standards, and regulatory guidelines.
  • Manage laboratory inventory, including tracking usage, ordering supplies, and maintaining organized stock.
  • Contribute to the overall cleanliness, organization, and efficient functioning of the laboratory workspace.
  • Participate actively in team meetings, brainstorming sessions, and scientific discussions.
  • Troubleshoot basic equipment issues and escalate complex problems to appropriate personnel.

Required Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Biology, Chemistry, Biochemistry, or a closely related scientific field.
