Key Responsibilities
- Handle a high volume of inbound and outbound calls in a professional and courteous manner.
- Act as the primary point of contact for customer inquiries, complaints, and service requests.
- Provide accurate, valid, and complete information by using the right methods/tools.
- Resolve customer complaints by clarifying the issue, determining the cause, selecting and explaining the best solution to solve the problem, and following up to ensure resolution.
- Document all customer interactions and transactions accurately in the CRM system.
- Collaborate with internal teams to escalate complex issues and ensure timely resolution.
- Maintain a deep understanding of company products, services, and policies to effectively assist customers.
- Follow communication procedures, guidelines, and policies.
- Engage in continuous learning and professional development to enhance customer service skills and product knowledge.
Required Skills
- Proven customer support experience or experience as a client service representative (minimum 1 year).
- Strong phone contact handling skills and active listening.
- Ability to adapt/respond to different types of characters.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proficiency in basic computer applications and data entry.
- Fluent in English and local languages (Igbo, Pidgin English) is an advantage.
Preferred Qualifications
- BSc/BA degree in a relevant field.
- Experience with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, Zoho CRM).
- Previous experience in a call center environment.
- Problem-solving aptitude and ability to remain calm under pressure.
