Job Description

This role calls for a highly motivated and results-oriented Account Manager to join our growing team in Saskatoon. As a critical liaison between Career.zycto and our valued clients, you will be responsible for nurturing existing relationships, identifying new business opportunities, and ensuring client satisfaction and retention. You will manage a portfolio of key accounts, understanding their unique needs and objectives, and strategically positioning our services to help them achieve their goals. This isn’t just about sales; it’s about becoming a trusted advisor, a strategic partner who can anticipate challenges and propose solutions that deliver measurable value.

The Account Manager will play a pivotal role in driving revenue growth by skillfully negotiating contracts, upselling, and cross-selling our comprehensive suite of services. You’ll conduct regular business reviews with clients, providing insights into market trends, performance metrics, and opportunities for optimization. A keen understanding of the competitive landscape, combined with the ability to articulate Career.zycto’s unique value proposition, will be essential for success. You will collaborate closely with internal teams, including marketing, service delivery, and operations, to ensure a seamless client experience and the effective deployment of resources. Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationships with a portfolio of key accounts.
  • Operate as the lead point of contact for all matters specific to your accounts.
  • Negotiate contracts and close agreements to maximize profits and achieve sales targets.
  • Develop trusted advisor relationships with key accounts, customer stakeholders, and executive sponsors.
  • Ensure the timely and successful delivery of our solutions according to customer needs and objectives.
  • Clearly communicate the progress of monthly/quarterly initiatives to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Forecast and track key account metrics.
  • Identify and grow opportunities within existing accounts, collaborating with sales teams to ensure growth attainment.
  • Assist with challenging client requests or issue escalations as needed.

Required Skills

  • Proven work experience as an Account Manager, Key Account Manager, Sales Account Manager, Junior Account Manager or relevant role.
  • Demonstrable ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organization.
  • Experience in delivering client-focused solutions based on customer needs.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple account management projects at a time, while paying strict attention to detail.
  • Excellent listening, negotiation and presentation abilities.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in CRM software (e.g., Salesforce).

Preferred Qualifications

  • BA/BS degree in Business Administration, Sales or relevant field.
  • Experience in the recruitment or human resources industry.
  • Ability to speak French or other languages relevant to the Canadian market.
