Key Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough physical examinations and assessments to diagnose and evaluate patient conditions.
- Develop, implement, and modify individualized treatment plans based on patient needs, goals, and evidence-based practices.
- Administer therapeutic exercises, manual therapy techniques, therapeutic modalities, and functional training.
- Educate patients and their families on proper body mechanics, injury prevention, and home exercise programs.
- Document patient progress, treatment plans, and discharge summaries accurately and timely.
- Collaborate with physicians, occupational therapists, speech-language pathologists, and other healthcare professionals.
- Supervise physical therapy assistants and aides as appropriate.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized treatment environment.
- Participate in continuing education and professional development activities to stay current with best practices.
- Adhere to all state licensure requirements and professional ethical standards.
Required Skills
- Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited program.
- Current and unrestricted Physical Therapist license in the state of Arkansas.
- Minimum of 1 year of clinical experience post-licensure.
- Strong understanding of anatomy, physiology, biomechanics, and kinesiology.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and empathy skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
