Key Responsibilities
- Perform a wide range of landscaping tasks including precise mowing, detailed trimming, sharp edging, and thorough blowing of leaves and debris.
- Assist with the planting, transplanting, and care of flowers, shrubs, trees, and other plant materials, following design specifications and best horticultural practices.
- Prepare and cultivate garden beds and lawns, which includes mulching, aerating, topdressing, and applying fertilizers safely and effectively.
- Safely and efficiently operate and maintain various landscaping equipment such as commercial lawnmowers, string trimmers, edgers, blowers, chainsaws, and a variety of hand tools.
- Participate in the installation, routine inspection, and repair of irrigation systems to ensure optimal plant health.
- Systematically remove weeds, invasive plants, litter, and other refuse from properties, maintaining a consistently clean and professional appearance.
- Strictly adhere to all company safety guidelines, industry regulations, and proper equipment operating procedures to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and your team.
- Collaborate effectively and communicate clearly with team members and supervisors to ensure projects are completed efficiently and to high standards.
- Maintain tools and equipment in good working order, performing minor routine maintenance and cleaning as required.
- Load and unload materials, tools, and equipment from vehicles.
- Provide courteous and professional customer service when interacting with clients on job sites, representing Career.zycto with integrity.
Required Skills
- Ability to perform strenuous physical labor, including lifting up to 50 lbs, bending, standing, and walking for extended periods.
- Reliable transportation to and from job sites in North Little Rock, AR.
- Strong work ethic and positive attitude.
- Ability to work effectively in various weather conditions (heat, cold, rain).
- Basic understanding of landscaping tools and equipment.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality work.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Eligibility to work in the U.S.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience (6+ months) in landscaping, lawn care, or a similar outdoor labor role.
- Familiarity with operating commercial landscaping equipment (e.g., zero-turn mowers, trimmers, blowers).
- Knowledge of local plant species and basic horticultural practices.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
