Key Responsibilities
- Operate company vehicles safely and efficiently to transport goods to designated locations within Mammee Bay, Ocho Rios, and surrounding areas.
- Plan and execute optimal delivery routes considering traffic, road conditions, and delivery schedules to maximize efficiency.
- Load and unload merchandise, ensuring proper handling and securing of items to prevent damage during transit.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs, including mileage, fuel consumption, and obtain necessary delivery confirmations from clients.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, reporting any maintenance needs, defects, or safety concerns promptly.
- Adhere strictly to all local and national traffic laws, as well as company safety policies and procedures.
- Provide excellent customer service during deliveries, interacting professionally and courteously with clients and colleagues.
- Handle and process delivery documentation, including invoices and manifests, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Assist with warehouse duties, including sorting, organizing, and preparing items for dispatch, as needed.

Required Skills
- Valid Jamaican General Driver's License (e.g., Class C or higher) with a clean driving record.
- Minimum of 18 months of verifiable professional driving experience in a logistics, delivery, or transportation role.
- Proven track record of safe driving with no major accidents or traffic violations.
- Excellent knowledge of Mammee Bay, Ocho Rios, St. Ann Parish, and surrounding geographical areas.
- Ability to safely lift, carry, and move heavy packages (up to 50 lbs) regularly.
- Strong time management, organizational, and route planning skills.
- Effective verbal communication and interpersonal abilities for client interaction.
- High school diploma or equivalent qualification.
- Basic mechanical aptitude for performing routine vehicle maintenance checks.

- Familiarity with GPS navigation systems and route optimization software applications.
