Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee and manage all front-of-house operations, ensuring smooth and efficient service flow.
  • Recruit, train, schedule, supervise, and motivate front-of-house staff, fostering a positive and productive team environment.
  • Maintain high standards of cleanliness, organization, and aesthetic appeal in all guest-facing areas.
  • Handle guest inquiries, concerns, and feedback promptly and professionally, ensuring complete guest satisfaction.
  • Manage reservations, seating arrangements, and special event coordination.
  • Monitor inventory of supplies and equipment, placing orders as needed to ensure operational readiness.
  • Implement and enforce health, safety, and hygiene standards and regulations.
  • Collaborate with the back-of-house team to ensure seamless communication and service delivery.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews and provide constructive feedback to staff members.
  • Assist in developing and implementing operational policies and procedures to enhance efficiency and service quality.

Required Skills

  • Proven leadership and team management abilities in a hospitality setting.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution capabilities.
  • Proficiency in POS systems and reservation management software.
  • Demonstrated ability to maintain composure and effectiveness in high-pressure situations.
  • Solid understanding of food and beverage service standards and best practices.
  • Financial acumen related to managing labor costs and operational budgets.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management or a related field.
  • Certification in Food Safety and Hygiene.
  • Experience with fine dining or high-volume restaurant operations.
  • Multilingual abilities, especially Spanish, are a plus.
