As a Construction Planning Assistant, you will be instrumental in supporting project managers and teams, ensuring that project schedules, resources, and documentation are meticulously managed. Your daily contributions will directly impact project efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and timely delivery. This role requires an individual who can thrive in a fast-paced environment, possesses strong communication skills, and has a foundational understanding of construction processes and project coordination. You will be working closely with architects, engineers, site supervisors, and subcontractors, becoming a central point of contact for project-related information. Key Responsibilities

  • Assist Project Managers in developing and maintaining comprehensive project schedules and timelines.
  • Coordinate the flow of information between various project stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and suppliers.
  • Prepare, distribute, and manage project documentation such as RFIs, submittals, change orders, and meeting minutes.
  • Monitor project progress against the established schedule, identifying potential delays and proposing corrective actions.
  • Support procurement activities, including obtaining quotes, processing purchase orders, and tracking material deliveries.
  • Maintain organized project files, both digital and physical, ensuring easy accessibility and compliance.
  • Assist in preparing project reports, presentations, and status updates for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Help manage project budgets, tracking expenses and assisting with financial reconciliation.
  • Facilitate communication and logistics for site visits, team meetings, and inspections.
  • Ensure adherence to safety protocols and regulatory requirements on all projects.

Required Skills

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Basic understanding of construction project lifecycle.
  • Time management and ability to prioritize multiple tasks.

Preferred Qualifications
