As a Respite Caregiver, you will provide temporary, short-term relief to primary caregivers, allowing them much-needed time for personal appointments, rest, or other responsibilities. Key Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate companionship and emotional support to clients.
- Engage clients in stimulating activities, such as reading, games, or light walks, respecting their preferences and abilities.
- Assist with light household tasks, including meal preparation, tidying common areas, and laundry, to maintain a safe and comfortable environment.
- Offer assistance with personal care, such as dressing, grooming, and hygiene, always maintaining client dignity and privacy (training provided).
- Monitor and report any changes in the client's condition or behavior to the primary caregiver or supervisor.
- Ensure client safety and well-being at all times, preventing accidents and responding to emergencies appropriately.
- Adhere strictly to client care plans and company policies and procedures.
- Maintain clear and respectful communication with clients, their families, and Career.zycto staff.
- Document services provided accurately and punctually.
