Career.zycto is delighted to be recruiting for an enthusiastic and dynamic Part-Time Escape Room Host with no prior experience necessary, to join a leading entertainment venue in the heart of Bristol. As an Escape Room Host, you are the face of the adventure! Your primary role will be to ensure every guest has a spectacular and memorable experience from the moment they walk through the door until they successfully (or nearly successfully!) escape. You’ll be responsible for welcoming groups, explaining game rules and safety protocols with infectious enthusiasm, and setting the stage for their thrilling journey. During gameplay, you will be the eye in the sky, monitoring teams via CCTV, providing subtle yet helpful clues when needed, and adjusting the difficulty to keep the challenge engaging without becoming frustrating.
Beyond the games, you’ll become an integral part of the team, assisting with the general upkeep of the escape rooms. This includes resetting rooms accurately and efficiently between groups, ensuring props are in perfect order, and maintaining a clean, safe, and inviting atmosphere. It’s a fast-paced role that requires excellent observational skills, quick thinking, and a genuine desire to go above and beyond for every guest.

Key Responsibilities
- Warmly greet and welcome guests, providing an energetic and clear pre-game briefing.
- Monitor games in progress via CCTV, offering timely and helpful clues to enhance player experience.
- Ensure all game rooms are meticulously reset and prepared for the next group between sessions.
- Manage bookings and inquiries, processing payments and handling administrative tasks.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the lobby, briefing areas, and game rooms.
- Troubleshoot minor technical issues with game props or equipment.
- Deliver an exceptional post-game debriefing, celebrating successes and capturing memorable photos.
- Uphold health and safety standards throughout the venue.
Required Skills
