As a Petrol Station Assistant on the night shift, you will be a crucial part of our station’s operation, ensuring a safe, clean, and efficient experience for our customers during quieter hours. Your responsibilities will extend beyond simply serving customers; you’ll play a vital role in maintaining stock levels, ensuring the premises are secure, and upholding the high standards of cleanliness and presentation that our customers expect. Key Responsibilities
- Serve customers promptly and courteously, processing fuel and shop purchases accurately.
- Operate the till and handle cash/card transactions, ensuring correct change and reconciliation.
- Restock shelves, fridges, and displays, ensuring products are well-presented and fully stocked.
- Conduct regular checks of the forecourt and shop to maintain high standards of cleanliness and safety.
- Monitor security cameras and report any suspicious activity to ensure the safety of staff and customers.
- Assist with deliveries and stock rotation, ensuring efficient storage and minimal waste.
- Adhere strictly to all health, safety, and hygiene regulations, including handling age-restricted products.
- Provide friendly and helpful assistance to customers, answering queries and resolving minor issues.
- Complete end-of-shift reconciliation and ensure the station is secure for handover to the morning shift.
