Key Responsibilities

  • Assist Radiologic Technologists with patient preparation for various imaging procedures.
  • Safely transport patients to and from the imaging department.
  • Prepare and maintain imaging rooms, ensuring cleanliness, stocking supplies, and checking equipment functionality.
  • Assist in positioning patients for imaging, following technologist instructions to achieve optimal image quality.
  • Provide compassionate patient support, addressing questions and alleviating anxieties before, during, and after procedures.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and assist with clerical duties as required.
  • Adhere strictly to all radiation safety guidelines and departmental policies and procedures.
  • Actively participate in training sessions and learn about various imaging modalities and techniques.
  • Collaborate effectively with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to ensure seamless patient flow and care coordination.

Required Skills

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to follow instructions meticulously and work effectively in a team environment.
  • Compassionate and empathetic approach to patient care.
  • Basic computer literacy.
  • Physical ability to assist with patient mobility and stand for extended periods.
  • Enthusiasm for learning and a strong work ethic.

Preferred Qualifications
