Key Responsibilities
- Assist Radiologic Technologists with patient preparation for various imaging procedures.
- Safely transport patients to and from the imaging department.
- Prepare and maintain imaging rooms, ensuring cleanliness, stocking supplies, and checking equipment functionality.
- Assist in positioning patients for imaging, following technologist instructions to achieve optimal image quality.
- Provide compassionate patient support, addressing questions and alleviating anxieties before, during, and after procedures.
- Maintain accurate patient records and assist with clerical duties as required.
- Adhere strictly to all radiation safety guidelines and departmental policies and procedures.
- Actively participate in training sessions and learn about various imaging modalities and techniques.
- Collaborate effectively with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to ensure seamless patient flow and care coordination.
