Career.zycto is seeking a passionate, dedicated, and inspiring Full-Time Preschool Teacher to join our vibrant early childhood education team in Brighton, Colorado. Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement engaging, age-appropriate curriculum activities aligned with early childhood development standards.
- Create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment conducive to learning and exploration.
- Observe, assess, and document children's progress, maintaining accurate records and communicating effectively with parents/guardians.
- Foster social-emotional growth through positive guidance, conflict resolution, and collaborative play.
- Manage daily classroom operations, including routines, transitions, and supervision of children.
- Collaborate with co-teachers, administrators, and specialists to support holistic child development.
- Participate in staff meetings, professional development, and parent-teacher conferences.
- Ensure compliance with all licensing regulations and health and safety standards.
Required Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field (or equivalent ECE credentials).
- Minimum of 1-2 years of proven experience as a Preschool Teacher or in a similar role.
- Strong understanding of child development theories and best practices in early childhood education.
- Excellent classroom management and organizational skills.
- Ability to create engaging, play-based learning experiences.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills for interacting with children, parents, and colleagues.
- Patience, creativity, adaptability, and a genuine passion for working with young children.
Preferred Qualifications
- Current Colorado Department of Human Services (CDHS) qualifications for a Lead Teacher.
- Experience with specific early childhood curriculum models (e.g., Reggio Emilia, Montessori).
- First Aid and CPR certification.
- Bilingual abilities (Spanish preferred).
