Key Responsibilities

  • Provide person-centred care and support to residents during night hours, adhering to individual care plans.
  • Conduct regular welfare checks on residents throughout the night, ensuring their safety and comfort.
  • Assist residents with personal care needs as required, maintaining dignity and privacy.
  • Administer medication according to policy and procedure, maintaining accurate records.
  • Monitor residents' health and well-being, reporting any concerns or changes to the senior staff or on-call manager.
  • Undertake light domestic duties, laundry, and preparatory tasks to ensure the residence is tidy and ready for the day ahead.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of observations, incidents, and daily activities.
  • Respond calmly and effectively to emergencies or challenging situations.
  • Communicate effectively with residents, colleagues, and external professionals.
  • Adhere strictly to all safeguarding, health and safety, and company policies and procedures.
