As a Furniture Delivery Helper, you’ll be an essential part of a crucial service, ensuring our customers receive their furniture safely and efficiently. You’ll work alongside experienced drivers, contributing to a seamless delivery experience from the warehouse to the customer’s home. Key Responsibilities
- Safely load and unload furniture items from delivery trucks, using appropriate equipment and techniques.
- Assist the driver in navigating delivery routes and locating customer addresses accurately.
- Carefully transport furniture into customer homes, ensuring no damage to items or property.
- Assist with basic furniture assembly or placement as required by the customer.
- Provide friendly, professional, and efficient customer service during every delivery interaction.
- Communicate effectively with customers regarding delivery times and any potential issues.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment within the delivery vehicle and warehouse.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies at all times.
- Report any damaged furniture or delivery issues to the supervisor promptly.
Required Skills
- Ability to lift and move heavy furniture items (up to 75 lbs) repeatedly throughout the day.
- Strong work ethic and a positive, can-do attitude.
