Key Responsibilities
- Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently, including cash, credit, and insurance co-payments.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming front-end area.
- Greet customers warmly and answer general inquiries, directing specific pharmacy questions to licensed staff.
- Handle and count currency, manage cash drawer, and reconcile daily transactions.
- Assist customers with locating over-the-counter products.
- Maintain strict patient confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations.
- Operate point-of-sale (POS) systems and other pharmacy-related software.
- Assist with stocking shelves and managing inventory for front-end products.
- Collaborate effectively with pharmacists and pharmacy technicians.
- Provide exceptional customer service, addressing concerns with professionalism and empathy.
