Key Responsibilities
- Perform general site clean-up and maintain an organised work environment.
- Load and unload construction materials, tools, and equipment safely.
- Assist skilled tradespeople (carpenters, plumbers, electricians) with various tasks.
- Dig trenches, excavate, and backfill, manually or with equipment.
- Prepare concrete, pour, spread, and finish it as directed.
- Operate hand and power tools safely and efficiently.
- Adhere strictly to all company and site-specific safety regulations and procedures.
- Follow instructions from site supervisors and team leaders.
Required Skills
- Proven physical fitness and stamina to perform demanding manual tasks.
- Ability to understand and follow verbal and written instructions.
- Basic knowledge of construction tools and equipment.
- Strong commitment to workplace safety.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Qualifications
- Valid Construction Induction Card (White Card) for working on construction sites.
- Previous experience on a construction site, ideally in a labourer role.
