Key Responsibilities

  • Assist production staff with various tasks on the plant floor, including material preparation and processing.
  • Load and unload raw materials, components, and finished products from machinery, trucks, or storage areas.
  • Operate basic manufacturing equipment and tools under supervision, adhering to all safety guidelines.
  • Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the manufacturing plant, ensuring a safe and hygienic workspace.
  • Follow all established safety protocols and procedures meticulously to prevent accidents and ensure compliance.
  • Perform routine quality checks on products and materials as instructed, reporting any defects or inconsistencies.
  • Transport materials and products within the plant using manual or powered equipment such as pallet jacks.
  • Assist with inventory management tasks, including counting, sorting, and labeling materials.
  • Report any equipment malfunctions, safety hazards, or production issues promptly to supervisors.
  • Collaborate effectively with team members to meet daily production targets and operational objectives.

Required Skills

  • High level of physical stamina and ability to lift heavy objects (up to 25kg) and stand for extended periods.
  • Basic literacy and numeracy skills to understand instructions and perform simple calculations.
  • Strong ability to follow verbal and written instructions accurately and consistently.
  • Excellent teamwork and communication skills, with a willingness to collaborate.
  • Keen attention to detail and a commitment to producing quality work.
  • A proactive approach to workplace safety and adherence to all safety regulations.
  • Reliability and punctuality.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a manufacturing, factory, or industrial environment.
  • Familiarity with basic hand tools and production machinery.

  • Ability to operate a pallet jack or similar material handling equipment (training can be provided).
