Job Description

Career.zycto is seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Fitness Trainer specializing in personal coaching to join our network in Tlokweng, South-East District. Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive fitness assessments and consultations for new and existing clients.
  • Develop individualized, safe, and effective exercise programs tailored to client goals, fitness levels, and health conditions.
  • Provide one-on-one personal training sessions, demonstrating and correcting exercise techniques.
  • Educate clients on proper nutrition, healthy lifestyle choices, and injury prevention within scope of practice.
  • Motivate and encourage clients to adhere to their fitness plans, celebrating successes and providing support through challenges.
  • Track and document client progress, adjusting programs as necessary to ensure continuous improvement.
  • Maintain a flexible schedule to accommodate client availability and personal commitments.
  • Ensure a safe and clean training environment, adhering to all health and safety guidelines.
  • Stay current with industry trends, research, and best practices in fitness and personal training.
  • Build and maintain strong, positive relationships with clients, fostering loyalty and referrals.

Required Skills

  • Certified Personal Trainer (e.g., ACE, NASM, ACSM, ISSA or equivalent recognized certification)
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in personal training and client coaching.
  • In-depth knowledge of exercise physiology, anatomy, biomechanics, and nutrition principles.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and motivational skills.
  • Ability to design and implement diverse workout programs for various fitness levels and goals.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage a client schedule effectively.
  • Current CPR/First Aid certification.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Exercise Science, Kinesiology, or related field.
  • Specialized certifications (e.g., corrective exercise, pre/post-natal fitness, sports nutrition).
  • Experience with diverse client populations (e.g., seniors, youth, athletes).
  • Proficiency in using fitness tracking applications and client management software.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a desire to grow a personal client base.
