Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the development, review, and update of IT governance policies, procedures, and standards.
- Support IT risk assessment activities, including identification, analysis, and mitigation planning.
- Help prepare for internal and external IT audits, gather evidence, and track audit findings and remediation actions.
- Maintain and organize IT governance documentation, ensuring accuracy, accessibility, and version control.
- Support compliance initiatives related to relevant regulatory frameworks (e.g., ISO 27001, GDPR, SOX, PIPEDA).
- Facilitate communication and collaboration between IT, legal, and business units on governance-related matters.
- Assist in the tracking and reporting of IT governance metrics and key performance indicators.
- Participate in the promotion of a strong IT governance culture across the organization.
- Provide administrative support to the IT governance team as required.
Required Skills
- Proven understanding of IT governance principles and frameworks (e.g., COBIT, ITIL).
- Strong organizational and documentation skills with meticulous attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint).
- Ability to analyze information, identify issues, and propose solutions.
