Key Responsibilities
- Oversee all aspects of bar operations, including staffing, inventory, customer service, and financial performance.
- Develop and implement innovative beverage menus, including cocktails, wines, and spirits, tailored to customer preferences and market trends.
- Recruit, train, mentor, and supervise bar staff, ensuring high standards of service, product knowledge, and operational efficiency.
- Manage inventory, ordering, and stock rotation to minimize waste and optimize profitability.
- Monitor and maintain strict adherence to all health, safety, and hygiene regulations, as well as RSA (Responsible Service of Alcohol) guidelines.
- Handle customer inquiries, feedback, and complaints professionally, resolving issues promptly to ensure guest satisfaction.
- Develop and execute promotional strategies and events to increase bar patronage and revenue.
- Prepare weekly and monthly reports on bar performance, including sales, costs, and labor.
- Maintain the cleanliness, organization, and aesthetic appeal of the bar area.
- Collaborate with other departmental managers to ensure seamless venue operations and a cohesive guest experience.
Required Skills
- Minimum 4 years of experience in a bar management or supervisory role.
- Demonstrated leadership abilities with a track record of motivating and developing teams.
- Strong knowledge of spirits, wines, beers, and cocktail creation techniques.
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
- Proven ability to manage inventory, control costs, and achieve financial targets.
- Current Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certification.
- Proficiency in POS systems and basic office software.
- Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
