Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate and maintain a company-provided vehicle for the transport and delivery of goods.
- Plan and execute efficient delivery routes to ensure timely and accurate deliveries.
- Load, unload, and secure goods, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage.
- Conduct daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle, reporting any maintenance issues promptly.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs, records of merchandise, and vehicle mileage.
- Adhere to all local and national traffic laws, transportation regulations, and company safety policies.
- Provide excellent customer service during deliveries, representing Career.zycto professionally.
- Assist with warehouse duties, including inventory checks and organization, as needed.
- Handle delivery documentation and payment collection accurately, if required.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, customers, and team members regarding delivery status or issues.
Required Skills
- Valid General Driver's License (Minimum 3 years active driving experience)
- Clean driving record (Police Record Certificate required)
- Proven ability to operate light commercial vehicles safely and efficiently
- Strong geographical knowledge of Balaclava, St. Elizabeth, and surrounding parishes
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Ability to lift and carry heavy packages (up to 50 lbs) regularly
- Basic vehicle maintenance knowledge and troubleshooting skills
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- High school diploma or equivalent

- Prior experience in logistics, courier, or delivery services
