Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze samples, reagents, and media according to established protocols and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Perform routine laboratory tests, experiments, and data collection under the guidance of senior researchers.
- Maintain, calibrate, and troubleshoot laboratory equipment, ensuring optimal functionality and accuracy.
- Accurately record and document experimental data, observations, and results in lab notebooks and electronic systems.
- Assist in the preparation of research reports, summaries, and presentations.
- Manage laboratory inventory, including ordering supplies, receiving materials, and organizing chemical reagents.
- Ensure strict adherence to safety guidelines, quality control standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Participate in laboratory meetings and contribute to discussions regarding experimental design and problem-solving.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient laboratory workspace.
Required Skills
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Biology, Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biomedical Science, or a related scientific field.
- Basic understanding of laboratory techniques and safety protocols.
- Proficiency in using standard laboratory equipment (e.g., pH meters, centrifuges, spectrophotometers).
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions precisely.
