Key Responsibilities
- Identify and acquire new clients through proactive fieldwork, community engagement, and networking within the Mahikeng region.
- Conduct thorough financial assessments and credit analyses for loan applicants, ensuring adherence to Nedbank's lending policies and risk parameters.
- Educate clients on various loan products, terms, and conditions, providing clear and transparent information.
- Guide clients through the entire loan application process, collecting necessary documentation and ensuring accuracy.
- Build and maintain strong, trust-based relationships with clients, fostering long-term loyalty to Nedbank.
- Monitor existing loan portfolios, identify potential risks, and implement appropriate mitigation strategies.
- Assist in the recovery of overdue loans through respectful and effective communication with clients.
- Prepare regular reports on field activities, client interactions, and sales performance.
- Stay updated on market trends, competitor activities, and regulatory changes within the financial services sector.
- Adhere strictly to all internal policies, procedures, and external regulatory requirements.
Required Skills
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a client-facing role, preferably in financial services, sales, or community development.
- Proven ability to achieve sales targets and build strong client relationships.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and a local language relevant to Mahikeng (e.g., Setswana).
- Strong numerical and analytical skills for financial assessment.
- Proficiency in basic computer applications (MS Office Suite).
- Valid South African driver's license and own reliable transport.
- In-depth knowledge of the Mahikeng geographical area and local community dynamics.
- High level of integrity, ethical conduct, and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and prioritize tasks in a field-based environment.
Preferred Qualifications
