Key Responsibilities
- Warmly greet and welcome guests upon arrival, ensuring a pleasant first impression.
- Handle guest check-ins and check-outs efficiently and accurately, processing payments and issuing keys.
- Manage reservations, including making, modifying, and cancelling bookings through our hotel management system.
- Provide accurate and detailed information about hotel facilities, services, and local attractions.
- Address guest inquiries, requests, and complaints promptly and professionally, escalating issues when necessary to ensure complete guest satisfaction.
- Maintain a tidy and organized front desk area and lobby.
- Assist with administrative tasks such as answering phone calls, responding to emails, and managing mail.
- Collaborate effectively with other hotel departments (housekeeping, maintenance, restaurant) to ensure a coordinated guest experience.
- Maintain a comprehensive understanding of hotel policies, procedures, and safety regulations.
- Process cash, credit card, and other forms of payment in accordance with established procedures.
- Perform wake-up calls and special requests as needed.
Required Skills
- Minimum of 1 year experience in a customer service role, preferably in hospitality.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Proficiency in using hotel management software (e.g., Opera, Fidelio) or similar booking systems.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and handle challenging situations with grace.
- Impeccable phone etiquette and interpersonal skills.
- A proactive and problem-solving attitude.
- Basic computer literacy (MS Office Suite).
Preferred Qualifications
- OND/HND/BSc in Hospitality Management, Tourism, or a related field.
- Knowledge of an additional language.
- Familiarity with local Mushin attractions and amenities.
- Experience with point-of-sale (POS) systems.
