Key Responsibilities
- Assist Delivery Drivers with loading and unloading packages, ensuring proper handling and securing of items.
- Navigate routes efficiently using maps or GPS, helping drivers maintain schedule adherence.
- Verify order accuracy and collect necessary signatures or documentation upon delivery.
- Communicate effectively with customers, providing professional and courteous service during deliveries.
- Adhere strictly to all safety regulations and company policies, particularly during vehicle operation and material handling.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of delivery vehicles and work areas.
- Report any delivery issues, vehicle concerns, or customer feedback to the appropriate supervisor promptly.
- Assist with warehouse tasks such as sorting, organizing, and preparing shipments as needed.
- Contribute to a positive team environment through collaborative effort and mutual support.
Required Skills
- Physical stamina and ability to lift and move heavy packages (up to 50 lbs) regularly.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
