Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the overall R&D strategy aligned with company vision and regional agricultural needs.
- Lead, mentor, and expand a diverse team of scientists, engineers, and researchers.
- Oversee the entire product development lifecycle, from ideation and prototyping to commercialization.
- Manage R&D budgets, resources, and timelines effectively to achieve strategic objectives.
- Identify emerging technologies, research opportunities, and market trends in sustainable agriculture.
- Establish and maintain collaborations with academic institutions, industry partners, and government bodies.
- Ensure compliance with relevant agricultural regulations, quality standards, and ethical guidelines.
- Present research findings, project progress, and strategic recommendations to senior leadership and external stakeholders.
- Foster a culture of innovation, continuous learning, and scientific excellence within the R&D department.
Required Skills
- Proven leadership and team management capabilities, ideally with large or complex teams.

- Expertise in agricultural science, biotechnology, agronomy, or a closely related scientific field.

- In-depth knowledge of local agricultural practices, climate patterns, and environmental conditions in Matabeleland South Province.
