Key Responsibilities
- Actively scout, identify, and evaluate emerging musical talent across various genres through live shows, online platforms, and industry networks.
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with artists, managers, producers, and other key industry contacts.
- Conduct thorough research on market trends, competitive landscape, and audience demographics to inform talent acquisition strategies.
- Prepare comprehensive talent reports, demos, and presentations for review by the A&R team and senior leadership.
- Negotiate and finalize artist contracts, working closely with legal and business affairs teams.
- Provide creative guidance and feedback to artists during the recording, mixing, and mastering processes.
- Collaborate with marketing, publicity, and promotion teams to develop strategies for artist launches and ongoing career development.
- Attend industry events, showcases, and festivals to represent Career.zycto and expand professional networks.
- Manage budgets associated with artist development, demo production, and scouting activities.
Required Skills
- Minimum 3 years of experience in A&R, artist management, music publishing, or a related field within the music industry.
- Demonstrated ability to identify commercially viable and critically acclaimed talent.
- Extensive knowledge of current music trends, emerging genres, and the independent music landscape.
- Strong networking and relationship-building skills within the music community.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation abilities.
- Proficiency in music production software and digital audio workstations (DAWs) is a plus.
- Deep understanding of intellectual property, publishing, and artist contractual agreements.
- Ability to work autonomously and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
