Key Responsibilities

  • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans in accordance with professional and ethical standards.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians, accurately documenting all actions.
  • Monitor patients' conditions, interpret vital signs, and report changes to the medical team promptly.
  • Provide comprehensive patient education regarding their conditions, treatments, and self-care strategies.
  • Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams, including doctors, therapists, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, ensuring compliance with data protection regulations.
  • Participate in ward rounds, meetings, and contribute to the ongoing development of clinical practice.
  • Adhere to all relevant healthcare policies, procedures, and national guidelines.
  • Provide compassionate support and advocacy for patients and their families.
  • Ensure a safe and clean working environment, strictly following infection control protocols.

Required Skills

  • Current registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) or eligible for registration
  • Minimum of 2 years post-registration experience in a hospital or clinical setting
  • Demonstrable experience in acute care, medical/surgical, or a relevant specialty
  • Strong clinical assessment and decision-making skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Proficiency in administering medications and performing nursing procedures
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
  • Commitment to patient safety and quality care
  • Eligibility for UK visa sponsorship and genuine intent to relocate

Preferred Qualifications

  • Degree in Nursing (BSc or equivalent)
  • Post-graduate qualifications or specialist courses in a relevant field
  • Experience working in a UK healthcare setting (advantageous but not essential)
  • Advanced Life Support (ALS) or Intermediate Life Support (ILS) certification
