In this pivotal role, you will provide comprehensive administrative support to our Artist & Repertoire department, playing a crucial part in the discovery, signing, and development of new artistic talent. Key Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive administrative support to the A&R team, including scheduling meetings, managing calendars, and handling correspondence.
  • Organise and maintain A&R databases, tracking artist submissions, demo pipelines, and project statuses with accuracy and confidentiality.
  • Assist with the preparation of contracts, deal memos, and other legal documents, ensuring all details are correct and deadlines are met.
  • Coordinate travel arrangements, accommodation, and itineraries for A&R personnel and artists as required.
  • Process invoices, expense reports, and budget tracking for A&R projects, adhering to financial guidelines.
  • Facilitate seamless communication between the A&R department and other internal teams (e.g., Marketing, Legal, Finance) and external partners.
  • Manage and organise music assets, including demos, masters, and associated metadata, ensuring easy accessibility.
  • Conduct preliminary research on emerging artists, industry trends, and competitive landscapes to support scouting efforts.
  • Prepare presentations and reports for A&R meetings and executive reviews, ensuring clarity and precision.
  • Handle confidential information with the utmost discretion and professionalism at all times.

Required Skills

  • Minimum of 18 months experience in an administrative or office support role, preferably within the music, entertainment, or creative industries.
  • Exceptional organisational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and general office software.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a professional demeanour.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritise effectively, and work efficiently under pressure to meet tight deadlines.
  • Demonstrated passion for music and a general understanding of the music industry landscape.
  • Proactive attitude and ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team.

Preferred Qualifications

  • A degree or equivalent qualification in Music Business, Arts Administration, or a related field.
  • Experience with project management software (e.g., Asana, Trello) or CRM systems.
  • Familiarity with digital audio workstations (DAWs) or music file management systems.
  • Basic knowledge of copyright and intellectual property principles within the music industry.
