Key Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee all catering operations, from initial client consultation to event execution and post-event follow-up.
- Develop, plan, and implement diverse menus tailored to client preferences, dietary restrictions, and event themes.
- Recruit, train, supervise, and mentor catering staff, ensuring high performance, adherence to service standards, and professional development.
- Prepare accurate budget proposals, manage costs effectively, and ensure profitability for all catering events.
- Maintain strict adherence to health, safety, and hygiene regulations (HACCP standards) within all catering operations.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships, understanding their needs and ensuring their expectations are consistently exceeded.
- Coordinate with suppliers for timely and quality delivery of ingredients and equipment.
- Oversee inventory management of food, beverages, and catering supplies, minimizing waste and optimizing stock levels.
- Conduct post-event evaluations to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
Required Skills
- Proven experience as a Catering Manager or similar role within the hospitality industry.
- Exceptional leadership and team management abilities.
- Strong financial acumen with experience in budget management and cost control.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- In-depth knowledge of food safety and hygiene regulations (e.g., HACCP).
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
