As a Hotel Restaurant Waiter, you will be the face of our dining establishment. Key Responsibilities
- Greet and escort customers to their tables with a warm and professional demeanor.
- Present menus and provide detailed information on ingredients, portions, and potential allergens.
- Prepare tables by setting up linens, silverware, and glasses according to hotel standards.
- Take accurate food and drink orders and enter them into the POS system efficiently.
- Serve orders promptly and check on guests regularly to ensure satisfaction.
- Maintain a clean and organized dining area, including clearing tables and resetting them for the next guests.
- Handle cash and credit card transactions accurately.
- Cooperate with all serving and kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations.
Required Skills
- Proven work experience as a Waiter or Waitress in a busy environment.
- Excellent active listening and oral communication skills.
- Physical stamina to stand and walk for extended periods during shifts.
- Ability to remain calm and polite under pressure or when resolving guest complaints.
- Basic math skills for handling bills and payments.
- Strong attention to detail and hygiene standards.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience working in a luxury hotel or fine dining establishment.
