Career.zycto is seeking a highly creative, organized, and experienced freelance Event Planner specializing in both wedding and corporate events to join our dynamic network. As a freelance Event Planner, you will be instrumental in conceptualizing, planning, and executing unforgettable experiences that exceed client expectations, whether it’s a dream wedding celebration or a high-impact corporate conference.
Your role will involve end-to-end event management, from initial client consultation and concept development to vendor negotiation, budget management, timeline creation, and on-site coordination. For weddings, you will guide couples through every step of their special day, ensuring a seamless and personalized experience that reflects their unique style. For corporate clients, you will translate business objectives into impactful events, managing everything from product launches and seminars to gala dinners and team-building retreats. We are looking for an individual with an impeccable eye for detail, exceptional communication skills, and a proven track record of delivering successful events on time and within budget. You must be adept at multitasking, problem-solving under pressure, and fostering strong relationships with clients and vendors alike. Key Responsibilities
- Conduct initial consultations with clients to understand their event vision, objectives, and budgetary requirements for both wedding and corporate events.
- Develop comprehensive event proposals, including themes, concepts, décor, entertainment, catering, and logistical plans.
- Create and manage detailed event budgets, ensuring all expenses are tracked and controlled to meet financial goals.
- Source, negotiate with, and manage a diverse range of vendors (e.g., venues, caterers, photographers, florists, AV technicians, entertainers) to secure the best services and rates.
- Develop and maintain detailed event timelines, production schedules, and floor plans.
- Oversee all logistical arrangements, including transportation, accommodation, registration, and guest management.
- Provide exceptional on-site event coordination and management, ensuring smooth execution and troubleshooting any issues that arise.
- Manage client communication effectively, providing regular updates and addressing concerns promptly and professionally.
- Post-event follow-up, including debriefs with clients and vendors, and analysis of event success.
- Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and innovative event technologies.
Required Skills
- Proven experience as an Event Planner with a strong portfolio of both wedding and corporate events.
