Key Responsibilities
- Clean all kitchen equipment, utensils, dishes, and glassware to the highest hygiene standards.
- Operate dishwashing machines efficiently and safely.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dishwashing area, pot wash, and general kitchen space.
- Assist with basic food preparation tasks as directed by the kitchen staff.
- Store deliveries and assist with stock rotation, ensuring proper storage procedures.
- Remove kitchen waste and ensure waste disposal areas are kept clean and tidy.
- Sweep and mop kitchen floors regularly to maintain a safe and clean working environment.
- Support chefs and cooks by ensuring they have clean tools and ingredients readily available.
- Adhere strictly to all health, safety, and hygiene regulations and company policies.
- Report any maintenance issues or faulty equipment immediately to the supervisor.
