Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and quarterly forecasts.
- Develop and maintain financial models to support strategic initiatives and business decisions.
- Prepare detailed financial reports, dashboards, and presentations for management and clients.
- Conduct variance analysis, identifying key drivers and explaining deviations from budget/forecast.
- Gather and analyze financial data from various sources, ensuring accuracy and integrity.
- Support month-end and year-end closing processes related to financial reporting.
- Collaborate with internal teams and clients to understand their financial needs and provide analytical support.
- Identify trends and opportunities for financial improvement and cost efficiencies.
- Ensure compliance with financial policies and regulatory requirements.
- Contribute to ad-hoc financial analysis projects as required.
Required Skills
- Proven experience (2+ years) in a finance or accounting role, preferably within FP&A.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (advanced functions, pivot tables, modeling).
- Solid understanding of financial statements, accounting principles, and financial analysis techniques.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
- High degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a remote setting.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency with financial software and reporting tools.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
- Progress towards a professional accounting qualification (ACCA, CIMA, ACA) or CFA.
