Key Responsibilities

  • Manage inbound and outbound customer interactions via chat and phone, providing accurate, valid, and complete information.
  • Resolve customer complaints, provide appropriate solutions and alternatives within the time limits, and follow up to ensure resolution.
  • Identify and assess customer needs to achieve satisfaction and build sustainable relationships of trust through open and interactive communication.
  • Keep records of customer interactions, process customer accounts, and file documents.
  • Follow communication procedures, guidelines, and policies.
  • Go the extra mile to engage customers and ensure a positive service experience.
  • Collaborate with team members and supervisors to improve customer service operations and outcomes.
  • Maintain a professional and empathetic demeanor during all customer interactions.

Required Skills

  • Proven customer support experience or experience as a Client Service Representative (CSR).
  • Strong phone contact handling skills and active listening.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems and practices.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
  • Proficiency in using digital communication tools (chat platforms, email, CRM).
  • High school diploma or equivalent.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in any related field.
  • Previous experience in a remote customer service role.
  • Fluency in additional Nigerian languages (e.g., Yoruba, Igbo, Hausa).
  • Experience with Zendesk, Freshdesk, or similar customer service software.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to issue resolution.
