Cervejas de Moçambique (CDM) is seeking an energetic Account Sales Trainee to join our dynamic team in Boane, Maputo Province. This entry-level position is designed for ambitious individuals eager to learn the ropes of the Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) industry, specifically within the beverage sector. As an Account Sales Trainee, you will embark on a structured training program that will equip you with essential sales techniques, product knowledge, and customer relationship management skills. You’ll work closely with experienced sales professionals, gaining hands-on experience in market analysis, route-to-market strategies, and client engagement.

Key Responsibilities
- Shadow and assist senior sales representatives in daily activities, including client visits and presentations.
- Learn and apply effective sales techniques, product knowledge, and market understanding.
- Support in identifying new sales opportunities and potential clients within the assigned territory.
- Assist in maintaining and developing strong, long-lasting customer relationships.
- Participate in sales meetings, training sessions, and workshops to enhance skills and knowledge.
- Help prepare sales reports, presentations, and proposals under guidance.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to identify areas for improvement.
- Ensure accurate and timely processing of orders and follow-up on deliveries.
- Collaborate with marketing and distribution teams to ensure seamless customer experience.
- Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and ethical standards.
Required Skills
- High school diploma or equivalent (12th grade completion).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills in Portuguese (verbal and written).
- Eagerness to learn and a proactive attitude.
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel).
- Valid Mozambican driver's license (Category B) and willingness to travel within the Boane area.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Resilience and persistence in achieving goals.
Preferred Qualifications
- A diploma or degree in Sales, Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field is a plus.
- Previous experience in customer service, retail, or any client-facing role.
- Knowledge of local market dynamics and consumer behavior in Boane and surrounding areas.
- Fluency in English or local languages (e.g., Changana) is an advantage.
