Key Responsibilities
- Process accounts payable and receivable, including invoicing, payment processing, and ledger entries.
- Perform daily bank reconciliations and assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records and documentation.
- Assist with the preparation of financial statements, reports, and budgets.
- Support the finance team with audit preparations and data analysis.
- Respond to vendor and client inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards.
Required Skills
- Proven experience as an Accounting Assistant or similar role (minimum 12 months).
- Solid understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounting principles.
- Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel (e.g., pivot tables, VLOOKUP).
- Experience with accounting software (e.g., SAP, QuickBooks, DATEV).
