Key Responsibilities
- Assist with data entry and maintenance of financial records, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Process invoices, reconcile statements, and prepare bank deposits.
- Verify the accuracy of financial data and resolve discrepancies.
- Support month-end closing procedures by assisting with reconciliations and general ledger entries.
- Prepare and organize financial documents, reports, and spreadsheets.
- Communicate effectively with vendors, clients, and internal departments regarding financial inquiries.
- Assist with audit preparations by gathering necessary documentation.
- Perform general administrative duties as required to support the accounting department.
Required Skills
- High school diploma or equivalent; a post-secondary certificate or diploma in accounting, finance, or a related field is a strong asset.
