Career.zycto is seeking a dynamic and empathetic Activities Support Assistant to join our vibrant team in Westfield London. You’ll work closely with activity leaders and participants, providing hands-on support, preparing materials, and ensuring a welcoming, inclusive atmosphere for everyone involved, whether it’s a children’s creative workshop, an adult learning seminar, or a senior social gathering.
Your day will be incredibly diverse, encompassing everything from setting up equipment for a creative workshop, assisting individuals during a physical activity session, managing registration for an event, to simply engaging in friendly conversation with participants. Key Responsibilities
- Assist Activity Leaders in preparing and delivering various programs and events.
- Set up and dismantle equipment, materials, and venues for activities.
- Engage with participants, providing encouragement and support as needed.
- Manage registration and attendance records for activities.
- Ensure a safe, clean, and inclusive environment for all participants.
- Provide basic administrative support as required (e.g., photocopying, filing).
- Help facilitate smooth transitions between different activity sessions.
- Report any issues or concerns regarding participants or facilities to the Activity Leader.
- Promote a positive and welcoming atmosphere for all community members.
Required Skills
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
