As an Acupuncturist, you will play a crucial role in our holistic approach to health. You will be responsible for assessing patients, developing personalized treatment plans, and performing acupuncture treatments to address a wide range of conditions, from chronic pain and stress to digestive issues and infertility. Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including taking detailed medical histories and performing TCM diagnostic methods.
- Develop and implement individualized acupuncture treatment plans tailored to each patient's specific needs and health goals.
- Administer acupuncture treatments using clean needle technique, ensuring patient comfort and safety.
- Educate patients on the benefits of acupuncture, TCM principles, and lifestyle recommendations for optimal health.
- Maintain accurate and confidential patient records, documenting all assessments, treatments, and progress.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals as needed to provide integrated patient care.
- Adhere to all provincial regulations and ethical guidelines governing the practice of acupuncture.
- Manage appointment scheduling and contribute to the growth of the practice by building a loyal client base.
Required Skills
- Active registration and in good standing with the CTCMA or relevant provincial regulatory body in Saskatchewan.
- Proven experience as a practicing Acupuncturist, with a strong understanding of TCM theory and application.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to effectively interact with patients and colleagues.
- Demonstrated ability to assess, diagnose, and treat a variety of health conditions using acupuncture.
- Proficiency in clean needle technique and adherence to strict hygiene and safety protocols.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail for accurate record-keeping.
- Compassionate and empathetic approach to patient care.
Preferred Qualifications
- Additional certifications in related modalities such as cupping, moxibustion, tuina, or herbal medicine.
- Experience working in a multidisciplinary clinic setting.
- A self-starter with an entrepreneurial mindset, eager to build and expand a patient base.
- Proficiency with electronic health records (EHR) systems.
