Job Description

Career.zycto is seeking a driven and creative Advertising Executive with a passion for brand building and promotional excellence to join our team in Clarisse House, Rose Hill. This pivotal role involves managing key client accounts, developing innovative advertising strategies, and overseeing the execution of campaigns that captivate and convert. You will be instrumental in bridging the gap between client objectives and creative solutions, working across various media channels – from digital platforms to traditional broadcast and print. We are looking for an individual who can not only understand market trends but also anticipate them, crafting bespoke strategies that deliver tangible results and strengthen brand identities. Your day-to-day will involve client consultations, budget management, presenting proposals, and collaborating closely with our design, content, and media buying teams to ensure seamless campaign delivery. This role demands a proactive mindset, exceptional communication skills, and a strategic flair for transforming business goals into impactful advertising campaigns. You will be a key contributor to our clients’ success, ensuring their brands stand out in a competitive marketplace and achieve their marketing objectives through effective, well-executed promotional activities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Cultivate and manage strong client relationships, acting as the primary point of contact for assigned accounts.
  • Develop comprehensive advertising and promotional strategies aligned with client business objectives and market insights.
  • Present creative concepts, media plans, and campaign proposals to clients, effectively articulating rationale and expected outcomes.
  • Oversee campaign execution from inception to completion, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.
  • Monitor campaign performance, analyze data, and provide regular reports and recommendations for optimization to clients.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with creative, content, and media buying teams to ensure integrated and cohesive campaign development.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging advertising technologies to identify new opportunities for clients.

Required Skills

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in an advertising agency or in-house marketing department.
  • Proven track record of managing successful advertising and promotional campaigns.
  • Strong understanding of traditional and digital marketing channels, including social media, SEO/SEM, content marketing, and PR.
  • Exceptional client-facing and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas clearly.
  • Excellent negotiation and persuasion abilities.
  • Proficiency in project management and campaign analytics tools.
  • Strategic thinking with a creative problem-solving approach.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications, or a related field.
  • Experience working with diverse industry sectors in the Mauritian market.
  • A strong portfolio showcasing successful brand development and promotional campaigns.
  • Fluency in French and English (both written and spoken).
