NMB Bank Plc is seeking an experienced Advertising Executive to join our vibrant marketing team, specifically focusing on campaign coordination. Based in Songea, Ruvuma Region, this full-time role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the strategic visibility and market penetration of one of Tanzania’s leading financial institutions.

As an Advertising Executive, you will be instrumental in the end-to-end management and execution of various advertising campaigns, from initial concept to post-campaign analysis. Your primary responsibility will involve orchestrating the seamless coordination between internal stakeholders, external agencies, media partners, and creative teams to ensure all advertising initiatives align with NMB’s brand guidelines, marketing objectives, and regulatory compliance. You will play a pivotal role in translating marketing strategies into actionable campaign plans, monitoring their progress, and ensuring timely delivery within budget constraints.

This position requires a keen eye for detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. You will be expected to conduct market research, analyze competitor activities, and identify emerging trends to inform campaign development and optimization. Key Responsibilities

  • Plan, coordinate, and execute integrated advertising campaigns across various channels (digital, print, radio, OOH) from concept to completion.
  • Collaborate with internal marketing teams, product development, and sales departments to define campaign objectives, target audiences, and key messaging.
  • Manage relationships with external advertising agencies, media buying houses, and creative vendors, ensuring deliverables meet quality standards and deadlines.
  • Develop detailed project timelines, budgets, and resource allocation plans for all assigned campaigns.
  • Monitor campaign performance, track key metrics, and provide regular reports on effectiveness, ROI, and areas for improvement.
  • Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify new opportunities and optimize campaign strategies.
  • Ensure all advertising materials comply with NMB's brand guidelines, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices.
  • Facilitate approvals from relevant stakeholders and senior management for campaign concepts and final assets.
  • Coordinate the production and distribution of marketing collateral and promotional materials.
  • Act as a central point of contact for all campaign-related inquiries and ensure smooth communication flow.
  • Manage invoicing and budget reconciliation for advertising expenditures.

Required Skills

  • Proven experience in advertising campaign coordination or project management.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of engaging diverse stakeholders.
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities, with a capacity for managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in marketing software, CRM systems, and campaign management tools.
  • Demonstrated analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and campaign performance metrics.
  • Deep understanding of various advertising channels and their respective best practices.
  • Fluency in English and Swahili, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
  • Problem-solving aptitude and a proactive approach to challenges.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Experience within the financial services sector or a highly regulated industry.
  • Certifications in project management (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) or digital marketing (e.g., Google Ads, HubSpot).
  • Familiarity with marketing automation platforms and customer journey mapping.
  • Demonstrated creativity in developing engaging advertising concepts.
