Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Aerospace Engineer to join our innovative team in Fort Wayne, Indiana. This critical role involves working on cutting-edge projects that span the full lifecycle of aerospace product development, from conceptual design and analysis to testing and deployment. Key Responsibilities

  • Design, analyze, and test aerospace systems and components, including aircraft, spacecraft, and propulsion systems.
  • Conduct detailed analysis of aerodynamic performance, structural integrity, thermal management, and control systems.
  • Develop and utilize CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, CATIA) for part and assembly design, and CAE tools (e.g., ANSYS, ABAQUS) for finite element analysis (FEA).
  • Participate in the full product development lifecycle from conceptualization to manufacturing and operational support.
  • Collaborate with multi-disciplinary engineering teams to integrate designs and resolve technical issues.
  • Prepare comprehensive technical reports, specifications, and documentation.
  • Support testing activities, analyze test data, and implement design modifications based on results.
  • Ensure all designs and processes comply with relevant industry standards and safety regulations.
  • Engage in continuous learning and apply new technologies and methodologies to enhance engineering practices.

Required Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering or a related field.
  • 4+ years of professional experience in aerospace design, analysis, or testing.
  • Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, CATIA, AutoCAD).
  • Experience with Finite Element Analysis (FEA) software (e.g., ANSYS, ABAQUS, NASTRAN).
  • Strong understanding of aerospace materials, structures, aerodynamics, and propulsion systems.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving abilities and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree or Ph.D. in Aerospace Engineering.
  • Experience with computational fluid dynamics (CFD) software.
  • Familiarity with flight control systems and avionics.
  • Knowledge of aerospace manufacturing processes.
  • Project management experience in an aerospace context.
