Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the aged care facility, ensuring high-quality resident care and safety.
- Lead, mentor, and manage a multidisciplinary team, including nurses, caregivers, and support staff.
- Develop and implement care plans tailored to individual resident needs, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
- Manage the facility's budget, resources, and financial performance effectively.
- Ensure adherence to all local, state, and federal healthcare regulations and licensing requirements.
- Foster a positive and supportive work environment that promotes staff development and retention.
- Maintain open communication with residents, families, and external stakeholders.
- Handle resident admissions, discharges, and transitions with sensitivity and professionalism.
- Implement quality improvement initiatives and ensure continuous professional development for staff.
- Oversee facility maintenance, cleanliness, and safety protocols.
Required Skills
- Proven experience in aged care management or a similar healthcare leadership role.
- Demonstrated knowledge of German aged care regulations and quality standards (SGB XI).
- Strong leadership, team management, and motivational skills.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and conflict resolution abilities.
- Proficiency in financial management and budget oversight.
