Key Responsibilities
- Assist with planting, cultivating, and harvesting crops following established procedures.
- Monitor crop health, identifying signs of pests, diseases, or nutritional deficiencies, and report findings to senior technicians.
- Operate and maintain basic farm machinery and tools safely and effectively (e.g., mowers, tillers, hand tools).
- Perform general farm maintenance duties, including irrigation system checks, weeding, and facility upkeep.
- Collect and prepare soil, water, and plant samples for laboratory analysis.
- Adhere strictly to all health, safety, and environmental regulations and guidelines.
- Maintain accurate records of daily activities, observations, and data collection.
- Support inventory management of supplies, seeds, fertilizers, and equipment.
Required Skills
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Strong passion for agriculture and outdoor work.
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting up to 50 lbs, bending, and standing for extended periods.
