Key Responsibilities
- Assist with precise inventory management, including receiving, storing, and dispatching agricultural products.
- Coordinate daily logistics for incoming and outgoing shipments, ensuring timely and accurate deliveries.
- Prepare and meticulously verify all necessary shipping and receiving documentation, such as invoices, waybills, and dispatch notes.
- Conduct thorough quality checks on produce during loading and unloading, ensuring product integrity and adherence to standards.
- Organize and maintain the warehouse or storage facilities, optimizing space utilization and ensuring easy accessibility.
- Communicate effectively with transporters, suppliers, and internal teams to facilitate seamless operational flow and resolve issues.
- Assist in the reconciliation of stock counts and resolve any discrepancies in inventory records.
- Generate accurate inventory, distribution, and operational reports for management review.
- Adhere strictly to all health, safety, and hygiene regulations within the distribution center.
- Operate basic warehouse equipment (e.g., pallet jacks) safely and efficiently, if required.
Required Skills
- Strong organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail.
- Proven ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks in a dynamic environment.
- Basic understanding of supply chain, logistics, and inventory control principles.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and Word, for data entry and reporting.

Preferred Qualifications
- OND/HND/B.Sc. in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Agriculture, or a related discipline.
- 1-2 years of proven experience in a warehouse, distribution, or logistics assistant role, preferably within the agricultural sector.
- Familiarity with inventory management software or enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems.
- Knowledge of local agricultural markets, produce types, and seasonality.
- Possession of a valid Class E driver's license for light commercial vehicles.
