Your primary focus will be on supporting the distribution manager in coordinating daily logistics, managing inventory, and maintaining effective communication channels with farmers, transporters, and retail partners. Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the daily planning and coordination of agricultural product distribution routes and schedules.
- Monitor inventory levels of agricultural products in warehouses and cold storage facilities.
- Prepare and verify dispatch documents, including waybills, invoices, and delivery notes.
- Communicate effectively with farmers, transporters, and sales teams regarding delivery statuses and issues.
- Ensure proper handling, packaging, and loading of products to minimize spoilage and damage during transit.
- Maintain accurate records of all incoming and outgoing goods, using inventory management systems.
- Conduct quality checks on products before dispatch to ensure they meet specified standards.
- Support the resolution of logistical challenges and delivery discrepancies in a timely manner.
- Adhere to all health, safety, and hygiene regulations related to food handling and storage.
- Assist in the reconciliation of stock and report any discrepancies to the distribution manager.

- Knowledge of local agricultural produce and seasonal variations in Uyo and surrounding areas.
