Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain highly scalable, secure, and reliable AI/ML platforms and infrastructure.
- Implement and manage MLOps pipelines for the end-to-end lifecycle of machine learning models, including training, versioning, testing, deployment, and monitoring.
- Collaborate closely with data scientists and machine learning engineers to translate model prototypes into production-grade services.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration, and management using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles.
- Ensure platform performance, stability, and cost-efficiency, proactively identifying and resolving bottlenecks.
- Develop and maintain monitoring, logging, and alerting systems for AI models and underlying infrastructure.
- Research, evaluate, and integrate new technologies and tools to enhance our AI platform capabilities.
- Contribute to defining best practices for MLOps, data governance, and model lifecycle management.
- Troubleshoot complex technical issues across the AI platform stack.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in programming languages like Python (essential), Java, Go, or C++.
- Strong experience with major cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and their AI/ML services.
- Solid understanding of containerization technologies (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes).
- Experience with MLOps tools and frameworks (e.g., MLflow, Kubeflow, Sagemaker, Vertex AI).
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps).
- Robust knowledge of data engineering principles, including ETL processes and data warehousing.
- Experience with distributed systems and data processing frameworks.
- Proficiency with Linux/Unix environments and scripting.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related quantitative field.
- Experience with specific machine learning frameworks like TensorFlow, PyTorch, or scikit-learn in a production setting.
- Knowledge of real-time data streaming technologies (e.g., Kafka, Kinesis).
- Experience with serverless architectures and microservices.
- Contributions to open-source projects related to AI/ML or MLOps.
- Understanding of data governance, security, and compliance in AI contexts.
