Key Responsibilities

  • Assist senior technicians with the installation, calibration, and maintenance of air quality monitoring equipment (e.g., samplers, sensors, meteorological stations).
  • Conduct routine site visits to collect air samples and retrieve data from monitoring devices.
  • Perform basic diagnostic checks and troubleshooting on field equipment under supervision.
  • Accurately record and document field observations, data readings, and maintenance activities.
  • Prepare and transport collected samples to laboratories for analysis, ensuring proper chain-of-custody procedures are followed.
  • Adhere strictly to all safety protocols, environmental regulations, and company standard operating procedures.
  • Support data entry and preliminary analysis of collected environmental data.
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development activities to enhance technical skills and knowledge.
  • Maintain inventory of field supplies and equipment, reporting needs to supervisors.
  • Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors regarding project status and any issues encountered.

Required Skills

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent
  • Basic understanding of environmental principles or science
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data collection
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions precisely
  • Proficiency with basic hand tools and mechanical aptitude
  • Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions and terrains
  • Valid driver's license and a clean driving record

Preferred Qualifications
